Let's hope it just turns out to be the typical FO incompetence and they find no link between the Eagles and the "gangs" leak. If they get a rep for doing something like that to players , it will be a problem that won't go away for a long time. They should have got in front of this from the getgo. Laurie needs to get involved if he hasn't.

Someone explain to me how this is a smear campaign by the Eagles when the only evidence in the NJ.com article that Jackson has ties to gang members came from JACKSON himself. Jackson is the one who posted pictures with known gang members for public consumption, not the Eagles. Any legitimate journalist could have found out this information without anyone from the Eagles saying one word to them.
When does Jackson take the blame for his release? He is either a moron for posting that stuff on the internet or he is just flat out arrogant to think he can do whatever he wants without consequences.
The Eagles have not said one word about why they cut Jackson and that is their right. They can cut any player any time without any reason. If the NFLPA is so worried about Jackson, they should have thought about that during the CBA negotiations.
