LeSean doesn't get the rushing yards he got last year without DeSean's presence on the field. DeSean forced defenses to pin a safety deep on his side of the field which means he couldn't come down into the box. So LeSean got to run against pure 7-man fronts.

Without the deep threat of DeSean, LeSean will see more 8-man fronts.

The loss of DeSean doesn't just hurt your passing game big time, it also hurts your running game big time.
