Disagree completely. On all counts. His 2012 rookie production points to you being wrong. Also he has not been supplanted by Polk just yet.

Not saying they won't trade Brown if they get a good enough offer. I just don't see him being the one dimensional bad player who fumbles most of the time and can't follow the design of the play you are pointing him out to be.

The guy's a legit 1000 yard rusher. Period! Polk is not.

In 2013 Brown did not get enough consistent playing time to establish much of anything. In 2012 he did. And he showed he's a baller.

No thank you on Anthony Barr

I watched what I believe is every defensive play he had against Stanford via the Draft Breakdown highlights on youtube.

He was overmatched in all phases of the game.

He had one disruptive play, sniffing out a reverse and tackling the RB for a big loss. He was unblocked.

Slow to react as a pass defender. Eaten by olinemen, even when he had a head start while playing off the line initially. Poor tackler. Was rarely double-teamed. No help in the run defense.

I say if you want a better product at OLB in round one, pony up the #22 for Dion Jordan, otherwise wait until later.

He's a good backup but with sproles here now if u can use him to move up you do it.

Polk can play ST as well which gives him more value moving forward,
Esp with 43 here taking a huge chunk out of any balls Polk/BB saw.

At the end of the day I'm just praying one of the 2 safeties is there when we pick. If not I hope to god there's a deal on the table to trade back with SF and get 2 additional picks in a loaded class.

The Rams, Bears, Ravens, Jets, and Packers could all easily take a safety. I just don't see Pryor falling.

I don't either. I'm hoping teams blow their firsts and 4-5 qb's get taken. That'll hopefully allow somebody good to fall to us at 22 who we will be shocked to see, or, make our pick a very hot commodity and we can trade back and get some much needed additional ammo as far as picks are concerned.

PSU is hoping he gets to blow his team first, and then he gets taken.

I really don't want them to just settle for Benjamin or Beckham at 22 when there is barely a drop off in terms of what they could get there in the 2nd round. I would be happy with any pick that addresses the secondary. Even if Barr dropped I think he is too raw and inconsistent for a defense that needs players who can produce immediately.

I don't know how I would feel if they strictly followed a BPA strategy though. What if that TE Eric Ebron drops and he happens to be the highest rated player on their board? Too many needs on defense…

Ebron I think will go top 10 or close to it. He's unbelievable and too good to pass on. Watch, somebody is going to take him very, very high.

I don't want a WR at 22 for same reasons. Too much depth and I don't think there's much difference either between guys 3-10 after Watkins and Evans are taken. You take "best player available" but all things considered you can always take a need more and wait on WR if the grades on two players are tied or close.

Just hope we trade back and get more picks with our first. I could def see that being the case.

He is not going to get that PT in 2014 either so it makes sense to consider a move. And since making the first guy miss isn't his strong suit he would be better served to go to a team that has an offense conducive toward his strengths.

Sometimes turning over the roster to fit a program entails trading talented players. Or, as in the case of jaccson, tossing pro bowlers to the curb.
