Is that the first time you've ever seen two men kiss on television ? Does it make you THAT uncomfortable ?

Did you see the cake being smashed in his partner's face?

Don't get on your soapbox and try and show everyone how politically correct you are. You don't know me so move on.

Glad for the guy that he got drafted but this is a typical liberal paradox. Claim he isn't going to be drafted because he's gay while calling for him to be drafted (specifically) because he is gay.

            It's not about political correctness

And I'm not on a soapbox. It just doesn't freak me out when two men kiss. If it freaks you out, that's something you have to deal with yourself. YOU are the one who claims that the coverage was over the top. I just wonder how it can be over the top when you have a young man who just had a lifetime dream become a reality share that moment with someone he loves. You're also right that I don't know you, but I'm willing to bet that if he had kissed his girlfriend multiple times and smashed cake in HER face, it wouldn't be "over the top".

Getting draft so late and in his home state makes me wonder, if I was a suspicious man, about the merit of his selection.

I don't need a translator that can't read but thanks for the offer.

I don't think that Jeff Fisher is the type to play like that

I think he saw a guy that could potentially help, and they got him with a compensatory pick so there's really no risk. The best thing they can do is let him do one interview in front of all of the mainstream media to get it over with. Then, after that, no media, just football.

The Rams had 4 selections in the 7th round... Mostly compensatory. He was drafted very late with one of those picks.

Everyone wins. It's a wonderful story for many people and for the NFL.

But if I were a suspicious man...

Me too. Who has the time to sit there all day scratching their balls listening to McShay and Kiper. I couldn't even sit through the entire 1st round

It's been months since anything meaningful happened in the NFL. I don't care about basketball or baseball, and the Flyers are done.

I watched, and was sad when it ended.
