  • Josh Huff over Bruce Ellington?

Nice human interest story but mistake. Ellington was rated 13th WR and projected 2nd or 3rd round. Huff 24th, projected 5th round. Chip loves his Ducks.

Chip made the playoffs last year, in case you didn't know.

The funny thing about projections, is that they basically assume that every team is looking for the same attributes from their players. So it's easy to look at a list and go, "Oh, man. This guy was rated 11 spots lower than this guy."

The problem is determining the actual talent drop-off from 11 to 24 and how they project in a team's offensive system. All it takes is one team to think that a "lower ranked" receiver is a good fit for them, and you're left with your dick in your hand because some arbitrary list had assured you that at least 10 receivers would go before him.

You can look at the Bears and see that they probably look for different types of WR's than say, the Rams.

As did Reid with Romeo C's players.

Oh come on. It was obviously a sentimental pick.

NFP rated Huff higher. He's also bigger. Chip made it clear he covets size with the release of JACCSON.

Their receivers have a pretty solid record in the NFL. Ace Sanders had 50 catches as a rookie last year. And then there's Alshon.

                      5' 9"

Ask me in 2 years. Hard to get on a soapbox over any picks til we see them in pads and games.

                          Hey.

You don't have to legitimize your love of 'cocks with me.

So that's one guy who rates him one place higher. The consensus has him lower.

Not that much bigger either. Ellington is more muscular and athletic. He was the starting point guard on the basketball team for two years.

                            It was a sentimental pick.

As if they drafted 5'11" Huff for his size.
