Another danger from running - killer dogs

I think that deportation and getting kicked out of your home is an awful thing that I wouldn't wish on anybody, illegal or not. This story is a sad one for all parties involved.

Just so you know my tone here. I am not attacking or going after you, but let me know if you have the same stance when you try collecting social security and there is none because all the "Illegal" Aliens in this countrty are now using it, or your medical coverage is through the roof because we have to take care of all the "Illegal" aliens in this country. And just to confirm, I have nothing at all against immigrating to this country, it waht this place is built on. I do however have a problem with people doing it illegally and living off the hard work of Americans

I dont trust Pit Bulls more than I can kick one. There is something not right about those dogs. I hear alot of stories about pit bull attacks and teh owner saying, I'don't why he attacked, he's always been a sweet dog until he ripped somebody's face off".

The Toronto Star produced a list of the 10 dogs that bite the most a few years back. On the top of the list, Cocker Spaniels.... Pit Bulls didn't make the list. Golden Retrievers where on there as were some other seemingly benign breeds. Rottweilers was the only dog that was on the list that seemed to belong there. These dogs get a bad rap, and almost 100% of the time it is the owners. There is no bad dogs, just bad owners.

I would doubt that, PB's seem to be pretty popular, I just think when it's a pit you hear about it 5 times as much. Now retrievers on the other hand, yeah, bunch of them around.

True enough. So what is the answer then? There is a Pit Bull ban in here where I live. Not sure how well it works because you see lots of welfare losers walking around with them still.

She's very protective, but extremely obedient and sweet. It is the owners. It doesn't matter what breed of dog you have, if you put the time and effort into training it these incidents won't occur. Conversely, if you just leave a dog in a backyard and top off its food bowl every once in awhile without socializing or training it, it's predictably going to have issues with other people.

Obviously certain dogs are stronger and more naturally aggressive than others, but pit bull or spaniel it all comes down to the training.
