Got the phone Friday night and didn't start using it until Saturday.
But it's been through a couple days of use, a gayte and a game so I think I can post an informed review. Not going to compare to Android as my references is my GF who a sh*tty Android phone which has problems so it would be unfair. This is only for people who have iPhones and who are considering upgrading, not people who are considering platforms.
First point: this device is huge. If you have a job where you have to move around a lot and you want to keep your phone in your pocket... go for the iPhone 6, not the plus. For me, I will take the phone out of my pocket and put it down in my office. Having said that, for one gayte and a game it was good. I didn't feel like it was in danger while in my pocket
I think it really comes down to whether you want a 2 hand vs 1 hand device. It is possible but a little difficult to operate the 6 plus with one hand. For me it feels like you could easily drop it... especially in an environment where you are with a lot of people like a football game.
The claim about the bending problem is bogus, IMO. The thing fits fine in my front pocket, which is where I always have kept my phone.
The camera is f*cking excellent. It is more than a leap beyond what I had in my iPhone 5.
I'm a little disappointed with the battery life but that is the constant complaint with iPhones. I tend to carry an external charge battery when I am going on trips or all day gaytes like yesterday.
