The other part was the Seattle players stating publicly:
"Sure we hold on every play, but the refs aren't going to call every one"
That sort of thumbing your nose at the league didn't sit well
They happily took the Fail Mary win in their favor (and acted like dickheads about it), and now that bad juju is coming home to roost.
