    Would it be impolite to point out it took one half of football for LJ Smith to conclusively demonstrate what the Eagles were getting in him?

    McShovelhands demonstrated it in his first preseason.

    I'm not the biggest Maclin fan but he has done ok this season, IMO. Nothing really spectacular but he is definitely the best they have.

    It would have been really nice to see how Kelly's system would have worked with Maclin, Desean Jackson, McCoy, a second year Ertz and Celek available to be on the field at the same time.

    Coop's finding out its a lot easier to play WR when you have a receiver on the other side and a running game both keeping the safeties occupied.

    I have to admit, I was very high on both Matthews and Huff.


    Matthews is showing some LJ Smith "YAC" tendencies and Huff has been awful.


    Maclin is certainly playing the best ball of his career, but Riley should be a special teamer and 4th WR.
