I'm beginning to think it is a Shady issue, not OL etc.

    You're right Dimmy,

Now, go back three or four weeks ago when I posted the article about trading Shady, and all the "experts" here gave me shit.

The guy can't even break a shoestring tackle in space any more, WTF happened to him? If Shady doesn't come up big in GB this week with most of the OL back together and healthy, it will be telling.

Me too. He's either not in it or pouting or hurt.

His pathetic showing both running and especially piss poor effort blocking is cause for concern.

He could be the next Desean Jackson this keeps up. RB most replaceable position on the field and his attitude or desire or both are complete opposite of last year. Maybe he's hurt?

Something stinks here though. Polk and sproles seem to hit the holes better than he is.

      More to come I'm sure.

Hopefully OL being back together will change things for him.

      Time will tell....

Just posted this and Ike Reese just said something stinks about this as well. Something not right.

          That toe thing, maybe?

I have to say though ... despite his over-dancing at times, there were very few places for him to run ... especially when Kelly kept calling those fucking perimeter runs.

Additionally, a line has to play together for awhile to work together well.

Despite having played together before, they haven't this year.

McCoy had two good games prior to this, so ...

Let's hope that's the case and he blows up vs packers.

Doesn't address his dog shit mentality to picking up blitzing defenders though. His whiff on the Sanchez grounding call late was inexcusable. He will get his ass chewed out by Duce for that. It's becoming a pattern with him too.

Yeah he looked pretty good the previous two games

Was it more of an overall strategy by carolina to stop the run and dare new QB senor sanchez to beat them?

McCoy simply doesn't hit the hole with the same decisiveness of a Sproles or even Polk, it's like he is second guessing what he is seeing, and that spilt second difference is the amount of time that hole is open.

I would think Sproles being here would push Shady, not lull him into submission?

It seems (not quantitative analysis) that Sproles and Polk do better than Shady when they are in there.

It really looked like the Pussycats were stacking the line

and taking away the Screen game too,,they did a great Job of it. Chipper saw that and ripped the Back end apart..Im fine with that. ..that being said DJ gone has changed how teams play us,,Shady does not have the Burst he had the last few seasons,,,its just Not Shady and it's not just the Line,,,its everything together..

I think what it means is anyone who takes a ESPN rumor seriously (a rumor that ESPN themselves admitted had a zero % chance of happening) and then bitches when people didn't respect them is kinda weak.

Not to mention the "I told you we SHOULD have traded him" argument is dumb as shit. You're banking on the Raiders or any team giving up a high draft pick for him.

So, if they moved Shady for a 7th rounder, you'd be good with that?

He's having a non-Shady like year and he's 6th in the league. You think Sproles and Polk would be better off if they both played significantly more? They're both situational players. Very good to great situational players, but situational players nonetheless. Does Shady need to get his head out of his ass? Yes. Should we bail on him already? No.

Why is JD not posting in this thread?

                            Seems tailor made.

Kelly and Celek both said they were stacking the box and it left middle wide open for the TE's and Matthews on slants ... and that's what they did all night ... so, I guess, yeah.
