I think what it means is anyone who takes a ESPN rumor seriously (a rumor that ESPN themselves admitted had a zero % chance of happening) and then bitches when people didn't respect them is kinda weak.

Not to mention the "I told you we SHOULD have traded him" argument is dumb as shit. You're banking on the Raiders or any team giving up a high draft pick for him.

He's having a non-Shady like year and he's 6th in the league. You think Sproles and Polk would be better off if they both played significantly more? They're both situational players. Very good to great situational players, but situational players nonetheless. Does Shady need to get his head out of his ass? Yes. Should we bail on him already? No.

Let's stop trying to get rid of our better players and let's start trying to keep them.

Now I'm not sure how many peak years McCoy has left but you have to think he has one or two.Why miss out on those peak performance years? We need a guy who can negotiate with players like this without disrespecting them.

Playing in Phila is a good situation but I think the management needs to do things to make the players realize that.

Now, go back three or four weeks ago when I posted the article about trading Shady, and all the "experts" here gave me shit.


The guy can't even break a shoestring tackle in space any more, WTF happened to him? If Shady doesn't come up big in GB this week with most of the OL back together and healthy, it will be telling.

McCoy simply doesn't hit the hole with the same decisiveness of a Sproles or even Polk, it's like he is second guessing what he is seeing, and that spilt second difference is the amount of time that hole is open.


I would think Sproles being here would push Shady, not lull him into submission?
