Aikman said it best--anything in a gray area of interpretation, the refs weren't going to call on the Hawks. There were numerous times when a Hawk defender was draped all over the reciever's backs before the ball got there and there was no call; the fact they let Wilson throw the ball in the stands with no obvious reciever in the area when he had pressure should have told us what was going to happen in this game. Not only that, but on the 3rd down pass that he connected on--I don't know how the officials missed the illegal lineman down field.

Fletcher made contact with the receiver when the ball was in the air and Fletcher had his back to the ball ... then he turned and was interfered with by the receiver.
But if you're going to let it go on muggings by Seattle, then the flag stays in your motherfucking pocket on that one.
Not to mention ... it was a fucking Eagle home game ... not Seattle.Last edited by slag; 12-08-2014, 10:18 AM.Obscenity is the last refuge of an inarticulate motherfucker.

Exactly my point, "call them all, or don't call any of them"

There were a couple of plays

PS - I'm the biggest proponent of letting them play.
I have repeatedly called for the elimination of the 5-yard rule and allowing bump and run down the field until the ball is in the air (and, obviously, no holding).
However, Seattle's stated game plan in the secondary is to do that all game and hope the referees won't call it ... and they don't.
The problem is that they call it on the other team.Obscenity is the last refuge of an inarticulate motherfucker.
