Not a big loss. His father is the reason the Eagles hired Rick Kotite instead of Jeff Fisher. He may not be an idiot but he carries the gene.

At least Jerruh and Doogie do it openly.

If the coach can't work with the GM, this team is fucked.

We will know for sure after the 2015 draft however it turns out. Unfortunately if its roseman and he blows it we are screwed for years.

It appears Chip's tenure is coming to an end sooner rather than later. Lurie listens to players too. Who knows how this is going down? Cutting Desean for nothing was a huge mistake. Drafting Smith was icing on the cake.

Sorry, but I'm with The Ref on this one. The last draft was bad. 2012 was the best in years. If 2014 bears Gamble's influence or if Chip needs to be stripped of personnel decisions, then I'm glad they're giving it back to Roseman.

Fisher is better but he's still one of the most overrated NFL coaches in history. Hasn't ever done jack shit and always finds a job.

Lurie loves Chip and everything he's implemented. Loves Houseman too but surely he's smart enough to know that the coach is more important than the GM, and a shitty GM at that. Maybe that's just wishful thinking…

Lurie is seeming more and more unsure of himself. We NEED a great draft and an improved defense next year.

Whether Gamble's firing was deserved or not, I am guessing Chip is pissed. Roseman is easily replaceable, so a move like this to appease him is ridiculous. How many bad drafts have there been and who is the common denominator?!

It's doesn't take a genius to figure out Roseman and Chip are not going to be able to co exist that much longer. Lurie already made his decision yesterday and now Chip will make his soon. This could be over sooner rather than later. Harbaugh Part II.

If he loved Chip Roseman would have been fired yesterday, not Gamble. Lurie picked Roseman over Chip. Now Chip will make his decision.

That's an insanely simple assessment of a bunch of unconfirmed bullshit being reported.

Bailing now would hurt Chip's career. You really think he's going to give up his job over Tom Gamble?

Yep! Roseman who has been the GM for the last 5 yrs while the Eagles haven't won a playoff game since his tenure.. Chip porbably saved Roseman's job just for getting him here.. Not many rookie HCs' come into the league and turn a shitty team from 4-12 to 10-6 like that. My bad a colllege inexperienced NFL HC.

2014 is irrelevant. The lawyer =Amaro and you want the dart throwing fantasy football board weasle lawyer back? Unbelievable..

We all assume that Gamble is some sort of rising star from good pedigree. Might not be the case. The Jets asked to interview Mueller, not Gamble.
The shitty Jets drafted Geno Smith with their 1st pick. So what is your point?
