Undeniably though he's a great recruiter and coach. That has little to do with the character of the players he recruits and coaches since, as far as the NCAA goes, he's followed the rules.

I'm not calling Urban Meyer a saint basking in a glow of moral superiority.

I'm saying he's a great coach and recruiter. Evidence of his highly talented teams that have enjoyed on-field success would support that point.

Do I think Calipari is dirty? Absolutely. That doesn't mean he's not a great coach and recruiter. Did Jimmy Johnson run a team of scumbags in the 1990's? For sure. Still a great coach and found great talent on those teams.

I'm not an OSU fan even a little bit(disliked 'em since Woody roamed the sidelines) but they impressed me greatly last night. Their depth and talent at QB is just sick. Urban would've been a fool if he stopped pounding the rock because the Ducks had no answer for it.

I can't say I have anything against the program anymore but there's more than a good amount of their fanbase which act as if the sun sets on their ass.

because Urban Meyer should hire a separate staff to screen every one of his players tweets before they send it out. He's also the first ever coach in college or the pros to overlook possible character issues because a player is really talented.

Almost all of the violations have to do with recruiting, like the situations with Kyle Dodson and Noah Spence. To hear you tell it, he had recruits driving Corvettes with hookers in the passenger seat and blow on the dashboard. No violation is right, but again, he wouldn't be the first coach that just happens to run into a recruit outside of the recruiting period.
