When all the dust settled, it was proved Paterno was just another big time college coach scumbag. Winning football games was even more important to him that having his main lieutenant exposed as the serial child molester he was.
Fuck Joe Paterno. Let him enjoy getting his wins back in hell.

I'm far from a Penn State fan, but taking away scholarships and wins because of the scandal seemed ludicrous to me from the start.
Jerry Sandusky's transgressions in no way benefitted Penn State in recruiting or game day play.
Punish the school, specifically those in charge who aided in the coverup, but don't punish the football program, specifically those who had no clue what happened.
