Here's the really rudimentary version. Foles is cheap and under contract. The Eagles are unlikely to be able to trade up for Mariota. Nobody else is going to come in ready to start unless they bring in somebody like Bradford.

I agree with those who think that Foles doesn't have the skills Kelly really values in a QB. But he'll get the first shot at the job next season.
