Just heard Sullenberger interviewed on CBS. He was being vague but he said there are ways for an authorized person to enter the flight deck even if the person inside is incapacitated. He also implied there are ways for a person inside the flight deck to barricade the door and make it difficult for anyone whether authorized or not to enter.
Also I just heard that a French prosecutor has now said the co-pilot destroyed the plane intentionally.--------

The video in this post shows how it works. http://qz.com/370386/this-video-show...manwings-9525/
Also this incident reminded me of this story from the 90's: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feder...ess_Flight_705--------
"We choose to go to the moon."

But that doesn't stop me from flying.
Another thing that goes through my head has to do with trusting that the pilot and/or crew doesn't want to die, either. So we have a mutual interest in completing the journey safely. Apparently this wasn't the thinking of somebody on that Germanwings crew. Scary shit.
