I think that's the way Chip eventually gets MM... Browns trade up for Mariota with 12 & 19 +, then Chip gives Browns 20,Cox,Kendricks, Bradford +.

Browns could not get Mariota with 12 and 19

          12 & 19 only have a value of 2075. The 2nd overall pick is worth 2600.

What is the formula for converting draft pick value to future Madden Rating?

                This is the rumor:

The Browns trade No. 12 overall, a second (No. 43) and a fifth (No. 147) to Redskins for No. 5 overall. This is a near-perfect exchange (1,700 vs. 1,703 points) according to the NFL draft value chart.

The Browns than send Nos. 5 and 19 to the Titans for No. 2. This also is a near-perfect trade exchange (2,550 vs 2,600 points).

So after MM, they'd only have a 3rd & 4th? Not bad for them.

Bet DC would love nothing more than to make sure Chip doesn't get his guy. We'll know soon enough.

It's better than what anything the Eagles can offer.

This years first, next years first and Kendricks is a better offer than two firsts.

The Browns' problem is they want a QB but not neccesarily Mariota. They seem unwilling to truly compete for the player.
