John Erlichman, one of President Richard Nixon's closest aides, has admitted America's "War on Drugs" was a hoax designed to vilify and disrupt "the antiwar left and black people" when it was launched in 1971.

How many times have you seen this guy play? Bet you don't even know what league he played in. strong shooter? How, specifically, does his game translate to the NBA? As for Sixers needs, they have needed a big man with Okufors skills long before Hinkie got here
Over any of the three of them. And Wilt. And Joe Montana. And Hercules. I'd maybe take Thor though, he can really throw the hammer.

You called out people who didnt like the pick. I didnt respond. Then you called me an idiot for saying embiid and noel were just as good. You asked for my defense of that statement and i responded. That makes me a troll? Huh.

I'm not saying next year, but once they bring in Saric and bring in a good backcourt... and once this team starts to round out as a playoff team, no way could a team like Golden State stop seasoned big guys down low.

the problem is stopping curry and Thompson, not them stopping your team.

I smell what your cooking though, the Sixers are aiming at historic size with this lineup. That's why it surprised me they traded MCW, but his shooting was just so piss poor I think it might've been for the best. I'd be fine with a guy like Ty Lawson and a 40+% 3 pt shooter with Saric and two of the three bigs.

I'd prefer the younger, taller and less injury-prone Eric Bledsoe, who is also available via trade.

sure, was just throwing out a name. If there is a position of strength right now in the NBA, it's point guards. There are a ton of good to great ones out there.

I think there are 2 issues with them making a trade OR signing a quality PG.

1- Does he want to come to Philly?

2- Does Sam want to start forking over money yet or does he want to continue to save until the time when they can sign 2-3 max players together?

I'm fine with them waiting. I bet they'll be bad next year, but nearly as bad as the past two. I'd rather they wait until the timing is perfect. Only hitch to that is that you want them to gel and learn how to play together sooner than later.

The thing the Sixers have needed since Moses Malone is an inside FORCE. And If I'm a free agent stud guard I want to come to a team with big men to throw the ball to.
                        That idiot is still here.
