KKK making the 53 man roster is a bigger mystery than Stonehenge. If you're an NFL WR and coaches and talking heads are asked about your assets and what you bring to the table and BLOCKING is at the top of the list you fucking suck.

He had a 9ish yard catch behind the LOS that counted as a run, hater!

Panthers need a "solid" WR as well.

The Great Unquestionable One. Who does KKKoper have pictures of? Jeffry at a cross burning?

did you hear KKKoopers response when questioned about his non productivity? "Dude! It's the preseason!"

Was that the full quote? I ask because I don't see the N word anywhere.

It's hard to hate on the guy (on the field, anyway) when the offense has so much fire power, especially when it appears that he's doing his job in the blocking department. On a lesser offense, Cooper would be a much more tempting target. As long as he contributes something this year, I'm okay. But like the article says, though, his contract in 2016 will be too much to bear for a guy who isn't an upper echelon receiver.

                      It's pretty simple

He has a $4.8M cap number this season, but would cost $6.2 against the cap to cut him. Worse, of his $4M base salary, $3M is guaranteed. It's one thing to eat an extra $1.4M of cap space, but another to pay the guy $3M cash to go play somewhere else on top of the cap room.

He's a goner next season when his cap # is $5.3M, but costs only $2.4 of cap room to cut. No way he stays then without taking a major pay cut.

                          Still worth it IMO.

Nah - not only do you have to throw away $3M and $1.4 of cap room, but you then have to pay the replacement as well. So add another $600k of cash and cap room.

Easier just to keep him for another season. I don't think he's nearly the problem you seem to think he is. What bottom of the roster player is worth keeping for the cost of nearly $4 million of cash and $2m of additional cap space?
