If he's as good as everyone says he is, why did he drop to 7? Honest question.

I think he dropped to 7 due to the level of talent available in this year's draft....deepest draft in a long long time. Also, there were 3 Dmen at the top that were considered the best depending on which attributes were most important (ie. puck-moving, stay-at-home, etc)

Most draft years he doesn't make it to seven. There were two elite forwards at the top of this draft that pushed the rest of the very good prospects down a few pegs.
