Bradford stats according to Grantland

It's also interesting that according to the article Bradford is the least blitzed and one of the least pressured QBs in the league. Our Lying Eyes makes us question those statistics, but it may be that we are seeing discomfort from Bradford in the pocket which is not warranted.

He's 26 for 70 on passes over 10 yards in the air. If for instance you included as completions on passes over 10 yards all 15 drops (which we know is not the case) that's still only a completion percentage of 58%. I'm underwhelmed by the receivers but I'm inclined to guess where the preponderance of the problem lies.

I think Bradford is off mentally.
Bradford has also mostly sucked, but you can't blame him for receivers not catching balls within their catch radius. You just can't."If I was racist in my opinion of QB's, I wouldn't have a dog named Donovan." - downundermike

From PFF:
Bradford has thrown for 208 yards in the air on dropped passes (1st) and 9.1% of all his aimed passes have been dropped (1st)
Of WRs in the 50th percentile of targets, Matthews has the second worst drop rate: 13.33% of catchable passes
Bradford has thrown two interceptions targeting Matthews, both have come on drops
Of all 174 WRs with at least one target, Huff is the most sure handed with a drop rate of 7.14%, tied for 94th (no other Eagles WR is in the top 100)
Of TEs in the 50th percentile of targets, Ertz has the third worst drop rate: 11.11% of catchable passes
Celek is the only player on the team without a drop and has a season total of 7 targets
Sproles and Murray combine for 237 routes run and 57 targets, more than any single RB or RB tandem. their drop rates are 15.38% and 11.54%, worst and 5th worst, respectively, among RBs in the 50th percentile of targets
Mathews, although only targeted 15 times (all catchable), has dropped 20% of those targets
not counting drops, spikes, and throwaways, Bradford has the 11th highest completion percentage among QBs, 76.8%
the entire offense has dropped 12.82% of Bradford's 195 catchable passes
I am not saying Bradford is the answer but these drops are unacceptable.Last edited by Big Little; 10-28-2015, 12:40 PM.

I agree he's been bad, but you can't possibly deny the ineptitude of these skill players.Last edited by Melchior; 10-28-2015, 01:05 PM."If I was racist in my opinion of QB's, I wouldn't have a dog named Donovan." - downundermike

Never seen as many drops by any NFL team in a long ass time.
But let's keep piling on Sam as if he should be passing and catching his own balls.--------
