Awesome! Seeing on Christmas Eve with my wife's family.

I'm thinking of trying to run through all 6 this weekend in preparation.

Have not seen a single Star Wars movie

And I probably won't go back to the first one and start watching because it's so dead tech compared to the CGI stuff that's out now. It actually always looked stupid to me. That shiny gold guy walking around, some trashcan robot, a big gorilla looking dude. That Lay-A-Princess or Princess-Lay-A always looked hot, but in a sort of nerd hot way.

I love you never seen a Star Wars badge of honor types.

            My girlfriend is another one.

Thank goodness my daughters love those movies like their old man does.

Just do not understand the big deal

IMO, these movies aren't crap, but they sure not very good either.

I saw the first and it was OK; formulaic space film garbage. Went to the second one and it was so damn boring I fell asleep in the theater. I've never seen any of the rest, even when they came to TV.

They're like Michael Jordan, or the latest boy band. If it's hyped enough, plenty of people will think they're the greatest thing since sliced bread. They're not.

Side note: the Star Trek franchise is light years superior.

I've never read or seen a.....

...single Harry Potter book or movie, I've only seen Bruce Springsteen ONCE in my life (The River Tour, Nassau Coliseum), I can't stand the Grateful Dead (don't like folk music).

On the other hand, I LOVE Game of Thrones, Terminator 2 is one of my favorite movies, and I'm a huge Pat Metheny Group fan. (I've seen them maybe 4 or 5 times)

                    Different strokes for different folks.

I know you like metal. I like some metal. Was a huge Black Sabbath fan back in the day. Fairies Wear Boots!

Hey I saw Bruce on the River tour at the Nassau Coliseum, on my 21st birthday in Dec. 1980.

I started watching Breaking Bad and....

...then it got into all of this cancer sh*t and I bummed out. Hmmmm...let's see why I bummed out. Could it be that I've been seeing a F*CKING ONCOLOGIST EVERY 6 MONTHS FOR THE LAST 5 YEARS????????

That plot point just represents "chaos" the way the white walkers do in Thrones. And once it gets into things, there's hardly any mention of it beyond the fact that there is always the motivation for Walt that he may die --which is the same motivation EVERYONE has EVERY DAY
