I think you bring up valid points about Flacco's contract, Reed and Lewis retiring, etc. and so maybe I'm being a little unfair. I'll wait to see if they reload into a brawling team again. I thought your point was that they were coaches who couldn't beat good teams. I guess I'd argue that the fact they won Super Bowls, alone, contradicts that. Coaches who aren't also GM's coach the hands they are dealt and both Harbaugh and McCarthy did that to the highest possible level of achievement.
