8 is too high. More like 15-20.

Howlo trades down to 15, gets their second rounder back and still picks up Elliott in the first round.

Do you say that because of need or are you just against drafting a rb in round 1 regardless? Worked out for Rams last year.

He says that because taking a RB at #8 is generally a hideous idea. And I'd hardly say anything worked out for the Rams last year.

If the top couple QBs, OTs and DBs go in the first 7 picks, then I could maybe talk myself in to liking a RB at #8. Probably not, though. Trade back.

Gurley was 3rd in the league in rushing.

Elliott is not making it out of the top 10.

You can fill that position later in most drafts. You'll notice most teams are now gravitating towards that strategy.

They've picked once in the top 10 since 2001. Their last two top 10 picks are Corey Simon (2000) and Lane Johnson (2013). It's worth noting that Johnson is probably the best tackle taken that year.

I'd have to think Stanley. If Goff is there, maybe...but he's a prototypical Chip QB, so he'll be gone if he's on the board at #7.

I like the idea of Zeke...but O line is a priority, and he has to be the pick.

I agree that he was a good player, but the reality is that you're typically not going to find a Pro Bowl quality OT/QB outside of the 1st round, whereas teams routinely find very productive RBs in the 3rd or later.

I don't know man. I don't see him falling that far. Maybe you could swap with Giants and get extra pick if they covet a DL but mid teens is pushing it. I think he's gone.

I'd make a trade with Giants as long as Reese is still running their draft. He's one of the biggest fuck ups around right now so wouldn't worry too much about who he's targeting (unless it's Stanley or Elliot).

There should be an exception for premier talent. Having a blue chip RB makes a difference.

The only player I would pass on Zeke for is Stanley. Can he play G for a year?

Unless by a miracle Wentz falls you have to go with Stanley.

I think they may be targeting the CB from Clemson - Mackensie Alexander or maybe Hargreaves (doubt he makes it to 8)

No way they go QB at 8 maybe BPA or BP for the Oline. If their targeted player is not available, I can see a trade back and stockpile picks
