  • Signing players from NFC East Rivals

Lets start a list of those who actually made an impact.

    Trotter

    Brian Mitchell

    Who else?
500 internet fights, that's the number I figured when I first joined igglephans. 500 internet fights and you could consider yourself a legitimate internet-tough guy. You need them for experience, to develop leather skin. So I got started. Of course along the way you stop thinking about being tough and all that. It stops being the point. You get past the silliness of it all. But then...after...you realize that's what you are.

Even though he only played 1 game for NYG before getting hurt, Walter Thurmmond counts and was fine last year.

Yep, didn't he go to the Vaginas after the Iggs? If so, doesn't count.

Thee arent many for sure, Mike Zordich, ND Kalu, Sean Landeta, shawn Barber. James Thrash was a pretty average role player but I guess they got more than expected production from him.

I think Randle can be one of these players. He was decent for the Giants. Seems better than the other receiver they signed.

Not a terrible risk. Apparently tired of being ODB's 1st mate and wanted a bigger role. He has good hands, but dropped a lot more balls last year.

I think Kalu and Thrash were originally Eagles so I don't think they count. Likewise, Trotter.

I will say I was never a big Kalu or Thrash fan.

Oh, I think Landeta started his professional career in Philadelphia with the Stars so he might not count either as a FA that was thoroughly marinated in Cockroach or Vagiant juice before signing with the Eagles.

Agreed, the risk is relatively low. Nothing like signing the roach to a big money contract.

if the criteria is based on where a player started a career then Herschel Walker was from the Cowboys via Minnesota. He was good on the Eagles.

Well, I for one am not going to sit here and rub my pussy about this. He's better than KKKooper, Austin and Huff put together and the WR draft prospects are not outstanding. He always seems to score TDs against us and anyone named Randal or Randall...or Randle is always welcome here as far as I'm concerned...

It's already been noted that he is the exception that proves the rule.
