Just did a quick, unscientific survey of the QBs taken back to, and including, 2005 (Smith, Rodgers). Less than half IMO would qualify as being 'franchise QBs' and I was being pretty lenient (included Winston and Mariota based on potential).

He's the best player on the Eagles, but he's not one of the best players in the league.
