Simmons
It stinks that it's going down like this, but I understand the decision not to work out for any teams by Simmons camp.
He's going to be the #1 pick, they all know that. All that can happen by working out is that he hurts his stock. It can't go up.
Nothing to worry about here.Check out our sports blog Deep(ish) Thoughts

The Sixers had dinner with Simmons and his agent in Cleveland before game 6 and now it appears he worked out for them.

Seems he has no problem playing here and looks like he'll be the pick.
Side note: There were reports that the Sixers talks with BOS and New Orleans were heating up with Jah or Noel involved, presumably for their picks (3rd and 6th respectively) because the Sixers are REALLY high on Dunn.

Simmons
Worked out for the team today.
No question he's the guy.
And I think the Okafor to Boston stuff falls into the where there's smoke, there's fire category.Last edited by Hordel; 06-21-2016, 11:00 AM.Check out our sports blog Deep(ish) Thoughts

I really like Jah, but would be willing to take the risk to get a (potential) stud PG.
PG-Dunn
SG-Saric / Sauce
SF-Simmons / Covington
PF-Noel
C-Embiid

Could be an exciting team to watch.

Rich Paul is LeBron's agent/longtime friend. He is also Simmons' agent and based in Cleveland. Windhorst is LeBron's go-to media member and the Plain-Dealer is obviously the paper of record there, so...it's unofficially official.

At first I was hoping Embiid would play in Summer League, but since there's a lot of guys playing REAL hard and somewhat reckless while they try to make a roster, I'm ok with him just practicing with the team and not playing the games (which is the plan)
Can't wait for his first game either way.
