You need them for experience, to develop leather skin. So I got started. Of course along the way you stop thinking about being tough and all that. It stops being the point. I begrudgingly accept a security issue (even if I don't buy it as the rationale for the policy) but I still find it hard to believe they can't provide water at a reasonable price. A bottle of water is a buck on the street in NYC, and those guys make a profit on it.
