I'm going to assume you were emotional or something when you wrote this because the insinuations in your post are pretty disgusting. Everyone is sickened by what happened in Dallas.

This is why I hate what happened in Minnesota: I have 5 relatives who are in law enforcement. One of them was a first responder at both WTC bombings. They are good men and good LEO's. What that idiot in Minnesota appears to have done casts a shadow over their good work. It makes them less safe. Officers have a lot of power and a lot of responsibility and when they abuse that or simply aren't competent to handle it they place good, responsible officers, like my family members (and the majority of officers) in danger from wackos. That angers me.

Whatever, society is on a downward trajectory. Has been for some time.

What does this have to do with guns?

It's a law enforcement issue. Either the cop was a nut and decided to just murder this guy in front of 2 witnesses or else he had cause to shoot.

Oh and yeah I'm sure it was the uneducated Christian right that murdered 6 cops in dallass last night.

I see the Monmouth County prosecutor exonerated the Neptune police officers who let their fellow police officer execute his wife in cold blood and then hugged him and told him they loved him. Another happy ending.

Yes, I was very upset that on various social media there literally dozens of #BlackLivesMatter posts about Alton Sterling and within the first hour or so of the Dallas shootings there were ZERO. You can't have it both ways. And when somebody like 'Queen B' comes out and says 'stop killing us' making it sound like cop/African-American genocide it roils me. And the President didn't help matters. I have not been an Obama basher but I truly believe some of this blood is on hands this time.

So I'm sorry if I offended, but in light of what happened in Dallas I was perturbed by RSE's and some of the subsequent posts when I opened the bored last night.

My fiancée is the daughter of a state trooper, and she is heartsick, probably because she works in one of the worst schools in the city and sees how the lives of the children in the poor, segregated black community in this city day in and day out. She believes the police need to police their own. She also believes no cop should be on the street for more than three years without a stint at a desk job for their own sakes.

What happened in Dallas is disgusting, of course.

And as Neptune showed, bad cops, cops that have no business being on the force, can kill white folks just as easily.

Bad cops ruined my brother's life. I'll admit to something of a chip on my shoulder. I ate lunch once a week for a summer with some state troopers who turned out to be massively corrupt and went to prison for it.

Again, sorry I went off last night, should have written it then deleted it. yours was the first thing I saw after reading about the Dallas shooting and I went off. There's a reason I don't own a gun.

Nope, I've changed my mind from all black people are good and all LEO's are bad to all LEO's are good and all black people are bad.

                        Thanks for asking.

That doesn't fall into my current narrative so I'll ignore it.

There is a exponentially higher rate of unarmed black and brown people being killed by officers than white people. You can't dismiss that problem, and you can't dismiss the concerns of black and brown people that themselves and their children are more at risk than Caucasians, because it is beyond the shadow of a doubt statistically true. It isn't being a "divider in chief" to recognize that.
