P.S. How crazy is it that Phila. captured NBC from NYC? They still have studios in NYC for show but the bulk of the operations are more and more moving to Phila.--------

Meh. Women's gymnastics has always been huge.
And Mikey Phelps may very well be the greatest athlete the US has produced in the last half century or possibly since Jim Thorpe.Last edited by Loki; 08-13-2016, 05:12 PM.John Erlichman, one of President Richard Nixon's closest aides, has admitted America's "War on Drugs" was a hoax designed to vilify and disrupt "the antiwar left and black people" when it was launched in 1971.

“Most athletes have run the 400 meters at least once,” Richards-Ross said.
“And most athletes never want to run it again.”

Whether or not athletes are made for the 400, though, is still under debate.”

my dear late friend Larry James (RIP) disagrees
the gold and silver medalist (400-relay gold and a world record and 400 individual silver --also a WR but still edged out at the tape by Tommie Smith) Mexico City '68...reamed me out for calling it middle distance...he said "It's a SPRINT...one that will put hair on your chest."
Agreed its a brutal test whatever you call it!Last edited by Irish George; 08-14-2016, 01:46 AM.Officially awaiting Douchebagnacht II since
