Craig Hodges when the Chicago Bulls visited the white house.
500 internet fights, that's the number I figured when I first joined igglephans. 500 internet fights and you could consider yourself a legitimate internet-tough guy. You need them for experience, to develop leather skin. So I got started. Of course along the way you stop thinking about being tough and all that. It stops being the point. You get past the silliness of it all. But then...after...you realize that's what you are.

What the fuck does this rich guy think he's doing.

What's next? Spouting off on Twitter about the President? Belitting prisoners of war? I mean, what fucking rich person has the right to complain and make a statement about the status of the country.

If you don't like America, Colin GTFO. It's a GREAT country.

Oh, and nice red hat dickweed.

Nothing but the utmost respect for Kaepernick

Standing on his principles and fighting for what he believes in. Everyone wants to talk about how much money he makes, but that makes his protest even BETTER. He could of just as easily sat on that $19,000,000 and not said a word, but he chose to put the money, the fame, the prestige, and the life of being an NFL player on the line for something that he truly believes in. I have to respect that. Anybody can talk the talk, but when the shit really goes down, how many are willing to walk the walk ? Kaepernick is. That's grown man shit, right there.

so he's got to spend money to make a statement ?

And I find it to be a legit point that his way of expressing his proclaimed outrage doesn't require him to really invest that much.

If he puts his money where his mouth is, I'll be more impressed.

For the most part this rings true....

" People who've disrespected and even threatened the POTUS for 8 years are demanding Kaepernick show America respect. "

"Walk the walk" yeah, okay. He didn't do a damn thing but make himself look like an idiot. If he really wants to walk the walk stop collecting a pay check from the white man and leave the country that has left him and the people he's "standing up" for so oppressed.

I'd also like to know how sitting on the bench during the national anthem is "grown man shit". Honestly some of the most childish shit I've ever seen out of a grown man.

kaepernick sitting during the anthem isn't walking the walk in the same way that muhammad ali did when he went to jail, but give me a break. he's not saying that all white people systematically oppress all black people. he's saying that justice hasn't been served for all. telling the guy to give back his money and get the hell out is a step away from saying he should thank white people for ending slavery.

i really doubt any of the people getting offended about this care when guys like matt birk skip white house visits because they're pro life. if that dude has the right to make a statement, so does kaepernick.

Actually AV, Tim Thomas caught a raft of shit from the media and the public when he refused to visit the White House after the B's won the Cup.

I feel like he's trying to send the right message and he has every right to let the world know how he feels but the way he's choosing to carry it out is certainly not walking any walk or grown man shit.

i know what you mean, but he sat during the anthem knowing the criticism would come. that's walking the walk more so than staying silent.

imo, if you think that kaepernick was trying to send the right message, you should be concerned with the things that he was protesting than the fact that he possibly chose the wrong platform.
