Love all the people outraged about the kneeling, fist in the air etc

Yet I just saw a bunch of goofs laughin', clappin', holding up banners during the anthem.

I thought that was disrespectful. Make up your minds super patriots.

To use a KG-esque expression, this is a tempest in a teapot.

Over the years, I have seen so much disrespectful fan behavior during the anthem, these protests just don't register with me on the outrage meter. I do believe in standing and taking my cap off during the anthem... that's just the way I was brought up.

So what was the big protest?

3 guys standing with fists in the air?

What's the protocol say about use of smartphones during the anthem?

Well I think they would like for cops to stop killing black people for no reason. As far as the military aspect of the anthem/flag goes, they might like it if the government slashed its ridiculous spending on defense so that those in the armed forces didn't have to go and get injured/killed as often.

This has been said plenty of times already, but those who disagree with the platform the players have chosen should be more concerned with the issues at-hand than what NFL players choose to do. Personally I find Tom Brady's Make America Great Again hat from last year a lot more bothersome than what these guys are doing, yet no one really faulted him for mixing sports and politics.

I'm not going to go into details about every shooting. There are bad cops, just like there are bad doctors, lawyers and mailmen. Bad shootings will never stop. There is a possibility that they could be reduced, but what number would be "acceptable" ?
The obvious answer is zero, but it is impossible because cops make mistakes OR departments cannot get every recruit application correct (and they choose a racist).

John Erlichman, one of President Richard Nixon's closest aides, has admitted America's "War on Drugs" was a hoax designed to vilify and disrupt "the antiwar left and black people" when it was launched in 1971.

i would say a rate comparable to that found in many european countries, which is minuscule compared to that of the US.

Probably because that's not true and you're a moron if you think that's what political dissent constitutes.
