I would think the Kc Reids even though they are across the state, bears suck, titans are an option at least you have a state border with them.

Yeah, but Baltimore only is guaranteed Ravens games. They'll not show something on Fox even if Washington is playing. I think the same goes for the DC affiliates.

It was nice when I had both Fox and Baltimore local stations because you almost always had some choice in what to watch.

Fans will grab some highlights on their phones, stream a few TDs, watch fantasy shows, DVR games and find other ways to consume the NFL than have Corporate America fry your brains for 3 hours...just to see 11 minutes of actual football action.

I wonder how RedZone's ratings are? If the Eagles aren't on, Redzone is my go-to and even when they are, I'm still flipping back and forth. No commercials and the best plays.

Plus it's a gamblers and fantasy football player's paradise.

Local ratings for their first game were underwhelming though. Novelty will wear off in a year and attendance will drop. Place is too big. New stadium should help but it'll come at a premium for fans. Think Local blackouts will be common. Product on field is a circus. Coach sucks and was extended. Goff over Wentz.

I love RedZone. I don't flip to it often during our games but otherwise I now use it almost exclusively or it at least gets the bulk of my viewing.

I am skeptical the popularity will last, but as a sports history buff I just loved seeing a packed, sun-splashed Coliseum and the squad wearing the old skool uniforms.

There is a reason the Rams left before, why the Raiders left, and why nobody cared for an entire generation, despite being the second largest market in the country: LA is a shitty sports town. Great city, lousy sports town.

That said, St. Louis Rams never sounded right to me and I hope the "new" LA Rams are successful.

Ignorant as ever. Teams left because nobody can turn a profit in a 100 year old stadium that Red Grange played in. On Sunday, people baked in the sun for three hours. It was awful. Nowhere near enough concessions, restrooms, or shade. They even ran out of water causing several instances of heat stroke.

In LA County there are now over 12 million souls. That's enough people to cover the fan base of several other NFL cities combined. It is a rabid sports town. Anyone who lives here for any length of time comes to know that. But people are also not going to subject themselves to the sort of conditions found at the Mausoleum for any length of time. And we do not give welfare to billionaires. We even charged the Rams for extra police presence. It's a privilege to conduct business here. The Rams have already doubled in value for Kroenke. When his new stadium is completed, the season tickets will be on a 50 year waiting list.
