They looked shitty. I think they can correct some of it. Hopefully wentz can gain some experience without dying. If vaitai can develop it would be incredible.

This has been my question as well. He was a 5th round pick. What did they see that nobody else did? It seems more likely to me that we are just really thin there. Then again you have a pro in Wiesniewski sitting on the bench. It's confusing.
Building for the future is fine, but Wentz is the future. If he gets killed nothing else matters.Last edited by McCarthy12; 10-19-2016, 10:09 AM."Listen to McCarthy" - Art Vandelay

Wisniewski went to the Jags and they stink, they need o-line help and the didn't bring him back and he really wasn't that high in demand in the off-season...so is he all that good?
Not saying he will be a great o-lineman...but seeing one game and going all, "he can't play" doesn't really make sense.
I think the fact that they are willing to put Vaitai back out there sort of indicates that the eagles expectations, while not giving up right now, are definitely looking more towards the future. Our dumbass right tackle, barring another dumbass move, is going to be the starting left tackle at some point. If they can find out that Vaitai can play right tackle right..that eliminates the need to have to search again next year.
Then they can maybe spend a pick on something else...corner, linebacker, wideout or something else.“I am going to literally sodomize you on the field of battle. I am going to have non-consensual sex with your face and your butt. Then I’m going after your wife and kid”

I hear you, but those are exceptions. Obviously they saw something, I'm just not sure what that something was. Obviously I hope he succeeds. I just don't want "getting V'd" to be a board phrase 5 years from now for a lineman getting the franchise quarterback killed before his career begins."Listen to McCarthy" - Art Vandelay

Austin Howard, starting right tackle for the raiders, undrafted and originally signed by the eagles.
Starting right tackle for a pretty good falcons offense...undrafted.
It's more common than you think.
Pederson needs to call a better game, more running plays and heavy tight-end sets. I don't know if V is going to be good or not...by why wait another year to find out if he can play?“I am going to literally sodomize you on the field of battle. Vaitai can't be as bad as what he showed in his first game. He's still going to look bad but hopefully the live game speed teaches him and he starts picking things up. They still need to invest in the line. I'd rather they spent their first round pick on a center than another wr. Time to cut ties with kelce

Also, Wisniewski isn't a tackle, so while i guess they could shuffle things, I'm not sure this would be a great idea.

Because Pederson stated that some of the things
that they are doing is because they want to win this year. Starting Big V at right tackle doesn't jibe with that statement.John Erlichman, one of President Richard Nixon's closest aides, has admitted America's "War on Drugs" was a hoax designed to vilify and disrupt "the antiwar left and black people" when it was launched in 1971.
