When Simmons starts playing

This is an aside, but it occurred to me that Simmons' injury may have been a blessing in disguise. While he's been out Embiid has established himself as the man and face of the team. Once Simmons is healthy he can come in and just do his thing and not worry about being the man. Seems like that might suit his personality.

I've had the same thought, but I'm always reluctant to type the words "blessing in disguise" on this board.

It's such a nerdy fan thing to be excited about, but I fucking love how much Embiid and Simmons embrace all the dumb shit that goes along with Sixers fans.

Embiid showing Hinkie love and calling himself "The Process." Simmons finding out about "Raise The Cat" and posting pictures of him doing it and Instagram live of him yelling it.

Great talent is one thing, but endearing yourself to the fanbase with your personality goes a long way, just ask Dawk and AI.
