I'M NOT CONCERNED ABOUT A PLAYER WEIGHING IN LIGHT. NFL HAS SOME OF THE BEST STRENGTH COACHES AND EQUIPMENT TO BULK THESE KIDS UP THE CORRECT WAY.
I THINK HE AND BARNETT WILL MUSCLE UP A GOOD 15, 20 LBS.

The point is why draft a guy like this to develop??? Top teams like NE, Pitt, GB , Dallas wouldn't look this guy way

Looks like they are trying to copy the small backs and receivers of the Pats that come out of the backfield/slot and create extreme mismatches with Lb's

Dallas was going to draft him if the Eagles did not.

The Eagles need a franchise back the Cowboys don't is the point. This light weight toothpick was the first Eagle choice for their franchise QB

Which franchise RB were they going to draft in the 4th round instead? Can't fill every position need with potential studs.

Lamar Miller, Jay Ajayi, Devonte Freeman and Jordan Howard were all taken in the fourth round or lower. They may not be franchise backs but they can all carry the mail.

This guy from BYU could definitely be as good as those players. Pumphrey is more of a role player.

The most important position in the field is QB. I'm with Maniac on the point that they were just a few picks away from Cook, but we pick up a guy that is useless for 2017 and maybe beyond who knows..

the patriots drafted james white in 2013 and turned him into an almost sole pass catching back.

5'9" 195lbs. yes, he is heavier...but his sole purpose is almost just to catch the ball. this past season, ran the ball 39 times and had 60 pass catches.

They signed Blount off the trash heap and used him as their power back after he got cut. I'm not going to freak out because they didn't draft a running back. Guys are going to be cut or be made available. If they don't do anything then...then i'll worry about it.

Another thing, Pumphrey was a WORKHORSE in college football. It wasn't like he ran the ball 100 times for 1000 yards and was never touched. He ran up the middle and he took shots. 900+ rushing attempts and 70+ catches since 2014. It's not like the other team was playing 2h touch either.

Anyway...it's May. Guys will shake loose. They always do.
