I love the guy. He just hasn't returned to 2017 form yet.

Notice when Foles took over, it changed everything last year. All the sudden the WRs are looking good.. The offense is scoring.. The defensive is playing well. It was contagious. Truth be told, he's the best Eagles QB of all-times.

Without question FOLES > WENTZ --- Best move was to keep Foles and parlay Wentz into more youth through picks.

Foles is a superbowl MVP and played absolute lights out during the playoffs in 17. In 2013 he finished the season with a 119 rating!! Had Alshon not dropped that ball last yr, we would've made it to another NFC championship imo. How could anyone argue he's not better up to this point? Would I like to see Wentz step and be elite again? Of course. Hopefully proves me wrong and becomes the franchise QB he's supposed to be this season. And I stand corrected. He did have 1 full season in 16. I'm not trolling. I'm a frustrated fan that had super high expectations for Wentz and the team this year.

During that time Foles went to the Rams and didn't do much. Then he became a backup in KC to Alex Smith. Under Reid/Pederson.
The thing is he's very proficient in Reids/Pederson's offense. Runs the RPOs like a Don. Throws a nice short/deep catchable ball with touch. Knows how to get the ball out quick in the short game to give our guys opportunities for yacs. Sees the entire field.
Still, my hope is Carson becomes the franchise QB we need him to be and gets us another trophy.
