  • DJacc reportedly having surgery

    Out 4-6 weeks.

If only some had thought of that seven weeks ago.

IF HE HAD IT DONE LIKE HE WAS SUPPOSED TO WHEN IT HAPPENED, HE WOULD BE COMING BACK VS. THE PATS 10O%.
THIS ENTIRE THING WAS HANDLED WRONG AND SERIOUSLY PISSES ME OFF.

Schefter says "at least six weeks"....other online "experts" say season ending.

Don't be surprised by IR I guess.

I'd like to have Robby Anderson or someone else on the roster.

He got bad medical advice. Not sure if that is on the Eagles or their medical staff. Maybe both.

Have to blame Desean for this, he never had surgery before and did not want it from what I heard. You CANNOT force a player to have surgery, and this kind is one of those that has mixed results. They say 4-6 weeks but it still could not work and pretty much end his career.

DeSean Jackson will have surgery Tuesday morning with core muscle specialist Dr. William Meyers, according to sources. It's estimated he will be out about 4-6 weeks.

Jackson met with the specialist Monday afternoon and was told his core muscle injury is now worse than it was when it first happened in Week 2. His abdominal muscle is now completely torn off the bone after he tried to play Sunday against the Bears. It was a minimal tear when it first happened in Week 2. The injury occurred Sunday on the Eagles' opening drive when he was tackled after his only catch. It worsened on the third-down sack on that same drive.

DeSean opted to not have surgery seven weeks ago because it is a really tricky injury. Some players can recover by just rehabbing. Some core muscle surgeries are successful, some aren't. Some players say their injury is worse after surgery. Some players still feel soreness and pain even after surgery.

I’m told DeSean did everything he could in rehab, flying in his trainer multiple times, doing rehab at the NovaCare Complex and at home. He was not 100 percent going into the Bears game but he pushed himself and wanted to be back out there for his teammates, especially Carson Wentz.

I’m told he was so frustrated about not being able to be out there but knew that this could happen.

Absolutely butchered this. Not claiming Gordon is really a bad look now. Get JJ Nelson on the phone.

Don't remember where but I read that Desean was the one that opted for no surgery? Dr. Trent ended up being right about it getting worse but I guess either way surgery was going to be the end result.

It’s baffling that he didn’t get surgery weeks ago.

Now they’ll sign Jordan Matthews and just like last year having another slow receiver will solve nothing.

                  Yippee.

Unless they're doing an endoscopy, I don't see how he comes back this year. If you're getting a several inch incision in your abdomen, I don't see any way you're ready to do anything athletic in 6 weeks, let alone 6 months.

IDK but I suspect he was advised he could recover and play through this.

In any case the bottom line hs should have had the surgery.

It's going to go the way of Mack Hollins and his season ending mystery injury. I wonder if we'll ever see DeSean again

The guys on the street are a pile of garbage with some headcases mixed in. Who are they going to bring in to try out?

Guys I've heard of..AB, Martavis Bryant, JMatt, Michael Crabtree, Kevin White, Jaelen Strong...not much there.

Get ready for the Greg Ward show?

Torrey Smith? Don't know if he's been keeping in shape since his retirement in September.
