There's better ways to make a difference or send a message other than disrespecting the flag. That flag was here long before Trump and the last people that should be kneeling is our professional athletes. Pat Tillman deserves better.

Interesting take seeing as pretty much everyone in the country is talking about it right now. Seems like it raised awareness pretty well.

The NFL has nothing to do with the U.S. military. It's just patronizing, feel-good bullshit to endear themselves to fans and now the players have cleverly used it as an enormous platform to bring attention to civil rights abuses.

I think the stage is completely appropriate. People who served died for freedom and equality for everyone. The protest is bringing awareness that the values our nation was founded on aren't afforded to all. That's a problem.

If they want the stage, do it during an end zone celebration. They can come up with some clever skit there. In the meantime, stand for the flag and those that lost their lives fighting for it. If there are people like me who just aren't smart enough to understand the real message, they're doing it wrong. Dumb it down for us morons. Maybe get them to wear those socks Kaepernick had on.
