        charlie manuel is a very good comparison. goofy dude who went with his gut and as such became the scapegoat. i'm not saying dougie will take us to a SB, but that mike lombardi article was way overblown. as easy a target as he is, dougie just isn't one of the jim tonsulas of the coaching world.

        but yeah 4th and 8 was incredibly fucking stupid.
