No, you've bitched through plenty of them.

Not that I feel like even giving you the time of day but tell me what I said about last's year draft. Remind me again how I felt about Dillard. I forget.

          This is just fucked.
I'm with Duck. I actually like who we picked up today.

The context of some of the moves is infuriating - mainly not giving up a 2nd for Lamb and then using that 2nd to draft Hurts when there were a handful of day-1 starters on the board. I was pissed about helping Dallas get their guy at C but we ended up turning that into multiple picks.

Removed from some of that context I am surprisingly content with the guys we brought in. Hopeful about the Auburn o-linemen we brought in and fully on board with bringing in multiple burners and increasing the chances of getting a long term rotational guy that Carson can grow with. Coming out of this weekend that's theoretically 4 new receivers who can stretch the field. High on the Clemson safety. Not sure about the linebackers but at least they took a chance on guys with NFL athleticism instead of maxed out Casey Mathews types who were never going to cut it.

My only positional gripe is not getting a corner but I guess they're giving Avonte/Sidney one more chance. If Slay can lock down one side we can afford to give more safety help to the other.

I don't think the sky is falling or that Howie set the franchise back years. He's a smug bastard but it's really not that bad.

We could of given our first pick to the Texans for Hopkins and instead we used that pick to draft an undersized WR when the history tells you they never likely succeed at the top level.

            Nothing makes sense with Howie.

Has Howie ever drafted a good skilled position player after the second round? When I see him draft any, I just write it off as bad pick.

I think we all know the answer to that mate and we have a terrible strike rate hitting players with middle / lower picks while other teams seem to do it all the time and this is where drafts are won and lost. 1st round selections are no brainers for every team and you have to be really unlucky to get a bust unless you go DB as they seem to be the high picks that fail.

You were doing a great job with your argument but then you got stupid. QBs transfer all the time in college football and it has nothing to do with being a bad teammate. Joe Burrow and Justin Fields both transferred; were they supposed to sit behind Dwayne Haskins and Jake Fromm (because Kirby Smart is an idiot)? Hurts did stay one more year at Alabama, sat behind Tua, and won a national playoff semifinal after Tua was hurt. I’d say he gave Alabama plenty.

I'm not criticizing him for doing it ... and yes, I'll concede the not-a-good-teammate was a bad choice of words ... my intent was that he isn't going to be one interested in being a back up for long, which can lead to team tension if he's any good.

EDITED TO ADD: My main point is that the guy who wrote the article ignored potential long term problems while suggesting that taking another player (when a lot of consensus good players were left) was throwing darts.

Then again, with Roseman making the pick maybe he had a point.

it took me all of 3 minutes to find this post because of how predictable you are. I put in your name and keyword “Wentz” and looked at the dates. 3 minutes.

I literally did it as I was taking a shit.
