Why didn't Pederson kick the FG? And what the fuck was that throw?

    Yes on the FG

Looked to me Wentz and Goeddart weren't on the same page ... which is often the case with a pick like that

I’m not even sure the 2015 offense with Bradford was this bad. Horrific across the board

Bradford played well enough to get an extension.

How can guys be that not on the same page at this point in the season, on a play like that. But they were. Coach, TE or QB. I think QB.

Wentz and Goedert have been playing together for a while now. I don't know what happened but I gotta hold the QB responsible. The play developed in front of him. And he hasn't exactly been sharp.

              Its a fucking timing route

EDITED TO ADD: You know, a play when you throw just before the guy breaks and turns around ... then if he doesn't do that shit the ball goes directly to a DB behind him.

Does it even matter at this point? I appreciate that Doug has said fuck it to this season. We are going to get a top 10 draft pick and heads are going to roll.

I agree. It doesn't really matter tonight though. They were down two possessions in the 4th because of Howie Roseman.

we know you're pot committed on Wentz and thats ok. TE did break... the other way.

Uh huh ... like I said ... they weren't on the same page ... I didn't say who was on the wrong page did i?

EDITED TO ADD: Even if I did say that if Goeddart DID turn the wrong way, it's an easy INT.

Very true, now tell us who you think was on the wrong page-- there is evidence to suggest you think it was TE.

IDK ... too bad Wentz isn't like Rivers or Brady in how he reacts to shit ... although he did make a gesture with his head afterwards that was hard to read as to whether he was mad at himself or Goeddart.

I'll take "IDK" as your answer to my question... the rest is probably some Dennis Miller level obscure reference come back that no one gets. Tough season all around, no reason to eat our own.

I just looked at the play 5 times just now on NFL Game Pass ... Goeddart is running right at the LB and starts to move to his left and Wentz lets it go as if he thinks Goeddart is making a fake left and he expects him to then go right.

Generally when its thrown right to a DB, the QB is expecting a receiver to be in between him and that guy, so that's why I think Wentz clearly expected Goeddart to go where he threw it ... but I have no way of knowing who made the mistake.

I can't tell if Wentz should have realized Goeddart wasn't going to make that move, even if the play called for it ... and but its such a fine line in the NFL as to when you pull the trigger on a play like that.
