Why didn't Pederson kick the FG? And what the fuck was that throw?

Wentz and Goedert have been playing together for a while now. I don't know what happened but I gotta hold the QB responsible. The play developed in front of him. And he hasn't exactly been sharp.Blue Chip College Football - Coach Your College to the National Championship

Its a fucking timing route
EDITED TO ADD: You know, a play when you throw just before the guy breaks and turns around ... then if he doesn't do that shit the ball goes directly to a DB behind him.Last edited by slag; 12-01-2020, 12:34 AM.Obscenity is the last refuge of an inarticulate motherfucker.

Generally when its thrown right to a DB, the QB is expecting a receiver to be in between him and that guy, so that's why I think Wentz clearly expected Goeddart to go where he threw it ... but I have no way of knowing who made the mistake.
I can't tell if Wentz should have realized Goeddart wasn't going to make that move, even if the play called for it ... and but its such a fine line in the NFL as to when you pull the trigger on a play like that.
