The Jets get their starting QB! Wentz will love it in NYC after being subject to all of the meanies in Philadelphia. He's already used to trying to throw to guys in green uniforms so no adjustment necessary there.

McNabb was here 11 season's so how can that be short lived as the franchise QB?
Eagles just jump the gun with Wentz. Didn't have to pay him that early could've saved 50 million on the cap by just franchising him for two seasons after his rookie contract was up. One of the only smart things the Washington Football Team got right as a Franchise with how they proceeded with the kirk cousins situation.

Wentz deserves better. It's not his fault he wasn't temperamentally suited for Philly. Send him to the Colts, Steelers or Broncos.

Wentz isn’t going to be traded. His dead cap money if he is traded is $34 million in 2021, more than $10 million more than the cap money hit of any player who is no longer with the club EVER. The cap is going to be lower next year and the Eagles are already way over any reasonable expected cap.
