Just getting a sense of what the guys on here are thinking, no big deal. We have no control over what Howie does anyway.

Wilson wasn’t in his prime years when he had a really good team around him. He has had good guys to throw to lately, but the OL and defense have struggled. So…maybe Howie could put a better team around him? And I do think Sirianni could use him better than a head coach who said “We have to run the ball better, not even better, we have to run it more.”

It’s not all about the QB, but QB is the most important position. Having a QB of Wilson’s caliber is a team’s best shot at getting to a SB or conference title game, regardless of if he hasn’t made it that far in a while.
Carroll's had final say over personnel in Seattle since 2012. Its ridiculous to put Sirianni in the same class with Carroll as a HC. And the worst play call of Wilson's career was letting him pass instead of calling a run in the Super Bowl.

Wilson isn't taking anybody to the Super Bowl again.

I'm not saying sell the farm but would be willing to give up 2 firsts, especially this year since its picks 15-19 which can all be Barnett caliber players.

How many times have we seen Wilson find a wide open WR? He is a patient QB that sees the field well. His age isn't a concern for me - he won't scramble like he used to but his game is set up to play well into his late 30s. I don't think it is happening, but I would be happy if it did.

Alright, then Carroll holds more responsibility for the awful decisions that Seattle has made lately. They've had 4 first round picks in 10 years. Two firsts for Jamal Adams was one of he worst trades ever. They traded their starting center and a first for Jimmy Graham. Spent one of the firsts they did have on a running back. Drafted LJ Collier, who makes Barnett look like a good pick. These moves make Howie's first round history look great.

That play call was one out of thousands and happened 7 years ago. I know there's a human element to coaching, but Pete Carroll is stuck in the Stone Age as far as game management goes. Saying Wilson won't take a team to the Super Bowl because he hasn't in a while is like saying Stafford won't win any playoff games because he never did.

The Rams were already winning playoffs games without Stafford. Wilson could win there. But Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey aren't on the Eagles. And if the Eagles piss away draft capital and cap space on old QBs, those kind of players won't be.

The Rams have given up more draft capital than any team probably ever. As of now they are the example of "maybe we should just trade away these picks for proven guys".

I'm not in favor of trading multiple 1st round picks for Wilson, but this is one of the most heinously stupid takes I've ever read. Rodgers has only been to one SB. What a superficial way to evaluate QBs.

It's true that it will be harder to get players like that if they trade for Wilson, but the Eagles have been making the playoffs pretty consistently. I think the TB game is at least competitive with Wilson at QB. I also think the Eagles would have won a couple more wins this year with Wilson, and drawn a better matchup/had a home game in the first round.

I'm rooting for Hurts and I find some fans' interest in being right about him sucking to be very weird. But it would be hard not to consider Wilson for less than three firsts. This team is already set up to make the playoffs in a bad division. He'd be playing with a great OL and two good receiving options. He also has a history of making receivers who were probably ordinary (Doug Baldwin, Tyler Lockett) look good. I see no reason to think he couldn't win playoff games here.

Super Bowls are superficial? Interesting take.

If you don't care about winning Super Bowls, why all your whining about Hurts? He's already proven he's good enough to lose in the playoffs. You should be happy.

Goff was just in the SuperBowl with the Rams. ... This Eagles team isn't built to win now so I agree Wilson isn't the answer.

If this team was a QB no brained to trade for Wilson. But it isn’t. Multiple upgrades are needed.

It just happened last year with Stafford.
