Wilson wasn’t in his prime years when he had a really good team around him. He has had good guys to throw to lately, but the OL and defense have struggled. So…maybe Howie could put a better team around him? And I do think Sirianni could use him better than a head coach who said “We have to run the ball better, not even better, we have to run it more.”
It’s not all about the QB, but QB is the most important position. Having a QB of Wilson’s caliber is a team’s best shot at getting to a SB or conference title game, regardless of if he hasn’t made it that far in a while.

I'm not saying sell the farm but would be willing to give up 2 firsts, especially this year since its picks 15-19 which can all be Barnett caliber players.
How many times have we seen Wilson find a wide open WR? He is a patient QB that sees the field well. His age isn't a concern for me - he won't scramble like he used to but his game is set up to play well into his late 30s. I don't think it is happening, but I would be happy if it did.

That play call was one out of thousands and happened 7 years ago. I know there's a human element to coaching, but Pete Carroll is stuck in the Stone Age as far as game management goes. Saying Wilson won't take a team to the Super Bowl because he hasn't in a while is like saying Stafford won't win any playoff games because he never did.

I'm rooting for Hurts and I find some fans' interest in being right about him sucking to be very weird. But it would be hard not to consider Wilson for less than three firsts. This team is already set up to make the playoffs in a bad division. He'd be playing with a great OL and two good receiving options. He also has a history of making receivers who were probably ordinary (Doug Baldwin, Tyler Lockett) look good. I see no reason to think he couldn't win playoff games here.

If you don't care about winning Super Bowls, why all your whining about Hurts? He's already proven he's good enough to lose in the playoffs. You should be happy.

If this team was a QB no brained to trade for Wilson. But it isn’t.
