I think he is alluding to the two plays in the fourth when the Chiefs used that play that the Jaguars used against us that resulted in an open receiver just walking into the end zone. That was on our defense and especially Gannon. If we at least realized that they knew how to get us we would at least stopped them the second time. and possibly won the Superbowl. As far as it applies to Wentz, he did have a great run in 2017-2018 to get us into the playoffs before his season and ostensibly, career ending injury. In that sense he deserved a Superbowl ring more than Hurts. Or any of the 2022-23 Eagles. I blame Gannon for the loss. Note: After thinking about it, I think what I should have said was Wentz deserves a Superbowl ring as well as does Hurts. Wentz did make an impact and helped the Eagles until he was injured. Hurts did do more and it was not his fault alone that the Eagles lost. The whole thing is still very disappointing.
