Are the Foles lovers the former Klob lovers?

Not sure there were ever many Klob Slobbers. I thought Klob might turn out OK, but then I thought Bobby Hoying would too.

P.S. I'm not a Foles Fellator. However, I'm inclined to agree he should keep the job on the basis that Vick has no future in Philadelphia. Vick will have another job next season in the NFL, so I don't feel badly for him.

I was cautiously optimistic about Klob also ... not so much Hoying.

And I don't see the comparison of Foles to either of them or Feeley.

He has shown a lot more game than any of those guys IMO.

it's a game to game situation for me right now.

this week, i want foles. that is based on how well he played vs TB, the fact Vick is probably 50-60% healthy, and a gut feeling on who would fare better vs Dallas.

go with the hot hand. if foles plays as well vs Dallas as he did vs TB vick may never see the field again.

I don't think Foles is lock NFL starter, but the Eagles aren't going to find out anything unless they play him the rest of the year.

Even if he has bad games.

Not even Spadaro can think the Eagles are contenders this year or that Vick is here in 14.

Hoying feels like a fair comparison. He put up some nice games at the end of 97. And the passing game was much different then. You didn't see 400 yard games every week.

4 of 7 games with a rating of 97 or better. 11 TDs, 6 Ints. Better numbers than Foles first 7 games. Also had the size.

I actually like Foles a hell of a lot more then Kolb ever.

There are a few on here that love him strictly due to skin color.

I think Foles might actually work out, the kid has looked pretty good in 9 games

i just wanted a young qb to root for because you could tell it was getting to the end of mcnabb's career.

Kolb ended up being crap which set the team back a few years.

even going with vick set the team back a few years.

would rather find out if foles or barkley can be good starters and not terrible. because if they aren't and if they have to draft a qb this year....what, it's like 50/50 in the first round for a qb? so they could be set back again.

Foles has more game than Hoying did ... and I like his demeanor more also.
