actually, foles has a pretty strong arm...but i was going for the accuracy, size and similar mobility.

how about this one. during the game this saturday, manziel tried to throw an out from the far hash and it was really weak and the announcer said, "that's the throw he needs to make on the next level and look, it wasn't there".

Foles has a stronger arm though...so if he can develop into a pennington with a stronger arm...i take that. That's a pretty good qb.

I don't know if he's going to be that good...or if he is going to flame out and be dogshit. could be. but i'm not going to sit here and not be excited. f that. i get excited in wins...even with the sixers. yeah, losing helps get that top pick...but i hate watching them lose. it's the f'ing worst.

I saw that. First, it was a deep out and I've never seen Foles so much as try that throw. Second, nobody tries that throw in college because the hashes are wider than in the pros. It's a rare play where the pass is actually easier in the pros because of the narrow hash.

please stop with the "couldn't even dream of making" nonsense. manziel is a great college player. i just don't see his game translating to the pros. he holds the ball like a loaf of bread. if people are saying that foles' throws a deep ball that hangs...are they just ignoring the lollipops that manziel throws up there? he also runs around in circles...and i've seen that work in the college game where he can outclass a player...but in the pros..how often does it work before you get absolutely drilled and hurt? vick, rg3, pryor...the list is getting bigger.

he also hit riley with a ball that went over 50 in the air. the underthrown pass to desean went 50 in the air. the pass he threw to riley was 50 in the air.

Really? You must be watching Foles evil twin, because I just don't see it, at least not "routinely".

I will admit that after looking at Vick straight lace a razor 35 yards that Foles throws do have a lot more air under them, but aside from Vick or Favre just about ever other QB's throws would look like that.

I'm just excited right now. Maybe it is a smokescreen and foles is just a backup...but as of right now I'm still pretty excited.... because he is a young qb playing well. I look outside of bridgewater (who has questions aswell) and see qbs all with some serious questions. Hundley...accuracy... ability to read a d...boyd...inconsistency and height....manziel...play style and arm strength.

I mean take a shot if foles stinks up the joint the rest of the year? Absolutely

If he plays with some consistency? Probably not.

He's not kolb or hoying though. Is he a dalton type qb who flashes and then goes in the shitter for like 3 games in a row? Maybe.... but in ten starts if he has a bad game he usually follows it up with some solid performances.

I'm just going to enjoy a second year player with 10 starts playing pretty well.

Have you measured the mph on their throws? I haven't... but if you have feel free to share the info.
